Breastfeeding week

VIMS College observes World Breastfeeding Week to create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for the health and well-being of both mothers and infants.

The program educates students and the community about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, proper feeding practices, maternal nutrition, and newborn care. Students participate in awareness sessions, presentations, poster activities, and community education programs.

Through Breastfeeding Week activities, VIMS College encourages future healthcare professionals to promote correct breastfeeding practices and support mothers with proper knowledge and guidance.

The observance highlights the important role of breastfeeding in building a healthy beginning and a healthier future for every child.
